GSIS chief reminds members to pay loans on time to enjoy full benefits

State pension fund Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) President and General Manager Wick Veloso reminded GSIS members and pensioners to pay their loans promptly and accurately to keep their benefits safe and secure. “We urge our member-borrowers to pay the correct loan amortizations on time in order to avoid compromising their hard-earned future benefits and other privileges,” Veloso said. He stressed that interests and penalties stemming from unpaid loans will be deducted from their retirement or separation benefits, which might leave them with little or no proceeds at all. GSIS to pay P3.35 B in Christmas cash gift to pensioners starting Dec. 6

State pension fund Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is set to release a total amount of P3.35 billion in Christmas cash gift to more than 328,000 old-age and disability pensioners starting December 6. “Alam namin ang Christmas cash gift ay hinihintay talaga ng aming GSIS pensioners at ito ang makapagpapasaya sa kanila ngayong Pasko. Kaya simula December 6, na-credit na sa ecard nila ang kanilang cash gift at pwede na nilang i-withdraw,” President and General Manager Wick Veloso said.
