State pension fund Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is not affected by its recent shift to Philippine Financial Reporting Standard (PFRS) 4 and is capable of paying its financial obligations to GSIS members and pensioners. The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is urging members and pensioners to immediately update their contact information such as cellphone numbers and email addresses in their GSIS records. According to GSIS President and General Manager Rolando Ledesma Macasaet, active members may update their contact numbers through their agency authorized officer (AAO) while pensioners may send it through email to their handling GSIS office. GSIS named one of top 5 ‘most trusted’ gov’t agencies
