The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) announced that beginning August this year, its more than 1.4 million members may already choose to have their loan proceeds and other benefits credited to a UMID (Unified Multi-Purpose Identification) eCard issued by the Land Bank of the Philippines. The GSIS turned over a total of 23 GSIS Wireless Activated Processing System (GWAPs) kiosks to the provincial government of Cebu covering various cities, municipalities and division offices of the Education Department in ceremonies held Monday, August 1. GSIS Chairman Daniel Lacson Jr. and GSIS President and General Manager Robert G.
