GSIS opens emergency loan to Glenda-hit members

Vergara announced that the pension fund is extending the grace period for the payment of amortization of Home Emergency Loan Program (HELP) borrowers in Yolanda-hit areas until November this year. “We hope that the deferment of the collection due date under HELP will enable our members in Yolanda-hit areas to focus their resources in rebuilding their homes and going back to their normal lives”, Vergara said.

GSIS offers emergency loan to members in Gingoog, Misamis Oriental

Date Posted: March 28, 2014 The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is offering a P20,000 emergency loan to GSIS members working or residing in Gingoog City until 16 April 2014 to aid in their recovery after typhoon Agaton wrought destruction in this eastern part of Misamis Oriental. “We earmarked a budget of P22 million for the program to assist more than a thousand members affected by Typhoon Agaton in Gingoog,” GSIS President and General Manager Robert G. Vergara said.
