Liaison Officers

The Liaison Officers (LOs) are in charge of submitting the applications for GSIS benefits and claims of members in their agencies.

 LOs have the following responsibilities:

  1. Submit to GSIS,  the application forms for GSIS claims and benefits filed by  employees of their agencies;
  2. Relay to their co-employees the latest updates on GSIS programs and services; and
  3. Attend seminars and trainings to educate and update them on the various reforms to provide responsive service for members.

As of April 2013, the GSIS has more than 5,000 Liaison Officers nationwide.
