How to activate the UMID-compliant eCard
Follow these five simple steps to activate your new UMID-compliant eCard:
- Go to the UMID-compliant kiosk located in GSIS offices or any other kiosk nearest you.
- Place your eCard on the kiosk eCard reader.
- Select any of your pre-registered fingers displayed on the screen.
- Place your selected finger on the kiosk biometric reader.
- Wait for confirmation that your fingerprint has been validated.
(If you fail to get confirmation of a successful fingerprint validation, kindly approach a GSIS representative)
Your eCard will be activated within 72 hours from the time that you have successfully validated your fingerprints.
