To further expand the reach of its services for its 1.4 million active members, the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) recently signed an agreement with Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) to deploy an additional eight (8) GSIS Wireless Automated Processing System (GWAPs) kiosks in key Robinsons Malls in Antipolo, Las Pinas, Cebu, Jaro, Iloilo,Tagum, Davao, General Trias, Cavite, Tuguegarao and San Pedro Laguna in addition to the 26 kiosks currently operating in various Robinsons malls. Through the GWAPS kiosks, members may check and update their records as well as apply for a loan without the need to visit any GSIS office. The pension fund has deployed nearly a thousand kiosks in all provincial capitols, city halls, selected municipalities and large government agencies such as the Department Education.
