Advisory on Additional Emergency Loan Coverage
The GSIS has approved the grant of emergency loan to eligible members working or residing in the following areas in Mindanao:

Eligible members can avail of the P20,000 loan in any GSIS kiosk or nearest GSIS office through over-the-counter application.
Eligible borrowers are members who are not on leave of absence without pay; have no pending criminal or administrative charges; have no arrears in the payment of mandatory social insurance contributions; and, have no loan that has been declared in default. The agency of the member-applicant must also be not suspended due to non-payment and non-remittance of premiums and loans.
Advisory on Bukidnon Emergency Loan
In light of the devastation brought about by Tropical Storm “Sendong,” the Management of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has approved the grant of an Emergency Loan to eligible members working and/or residing in the province of Bukidnon.
Eligible members can avail of the P20,000-Emergency Loan from 26 December 2011 to 25 January 2012 in any GSIS kiosk or nearest GSIS office through over-the-counter application (OTC).
Please note that for those with outstanding emergency loans, there should be at least 12 monthly payments before they can avail of this loan but not earlier than the anniversary date of the previous loan.
Among those who can avail of the Emergency Loan include active members working or residing in areas declared in a state of calamity; not on leave of absence without pay; have no pending criminal or administrative charges; have no arrearages in the payment of mandatory social insurance contributions; and have no loan that has been declared in default. The agency of the member-applicant must also not be suspended because of non-payment and non-remittance of premiums and loans.
If the loan proceeds are not credited within 7 days from the date of application, please proceed to the nearest GSIS office or the kiosk near you for the status.
