The new GSIS Bohol Branch, located in CPG North Avenue in Tagbilaran City, is bigger and more accessible to members and pensioners.
Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) President and General Manager Robert G. Vergara announced that its Bohol Branch Office transferred to a better location making it convenient for its 26,000 members and pensioners in the province to transact with the pension fund.
“The move not only provides a bigger and newer space to serve our stakeholders but also renews our commitment to provide them accessible and responsive service,” Vergara said during the office’s inauguration held on Thursday.
At its new address, CPG North Avenue in Tagbilaran City, GSIS solely occupies the newly built, two-story building to accommodate more clients. Unlike before, clients can now proceed to the ground level where the service area is located.
The Bohol office used to lease only the second floor of the Development Bank of the Philippines’s building.
Wheelchair ramps have been installed within the building for physically-challenged visitors. The new parking lot is also bigger.
The new location of GSIS Bohol is accessible to public as well as private transportation and just a few blocks away from other government agencies such as the Department of Education and the Department of Public Works and Highways.
All types of GSIS claims and benefits covering retirement, loans, and life insurance, such as cash surrender value (amount to be paid to members when they are separated before the maturity of their life insurance policies); maturity, death, survivorship, and funeral will be accepted and processed in the branch.
GSIS Bohol branch is a back-to-back recipient of the coveted Seal of Excellence for exemplary service under the Civil Service Commission’s Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) customer feedback survey. For the third year in a row since 2013, it received an ARTA rating of “Excellent” (90 percent and above).
