Date Posted: January 9, 2018

GSIS thus reminds its active members, pensioners, and beneficiaries to keep in mind the benefits that have deadlines.

FUSS is an acronym that serves as a memory aide: Funeral, Unemployment, Separation, and Survivorship benefits. They should be filed within prescribed period from the date of contingency.

REPLACEMENT SCHOLARS IN THE GSIS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (GSP) FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2017-2018

Pursuant to GSIS Board Resolution No. 24 dated 10 March 2016, seven new GSP scholars were named below, replacing previously listed grantees for AY 2017-2018:

The earlier selected nominees were replaced because of their failure to submit the requirements within the 30-day prescribed period and their decision to waive the scholarship grants.

The new scholars were next in line in the regional ranking. They have likewise met the qualifications and eligibility requirements per Item No. III.D.10 of GSP Policy and Procedural Guidelines No. 303-16.

They shall be entitled to the following GSP benefits:

  • Actual cost of tuition and miscellaneous fees not to exceed Php40,000.00 per academic year, regardless of the number of terms (not to include summer classes and provided that the course is finished within the regular duration prescribed by the school for a four- or five-year course); and

  • Monthly stipend of Php3,000.00.
